| LEARN |
| Take
the initiative to learn more about global issues relating to
good stewardship of natural and human resources. Some possible
categories for information gathering are: Conservation

vegetable growing, composting, sustainable agriculture, food
production, tree growing, soil improvement, micro-scale
farming, and food distribution. Check out our Resource
Networking page for some information links. |

| We
ask persons of faith to pray for: |
 |
Increased
participation in practices that preserve and restore
natural resources. |
 |

| GO |
| Act
upon your concern for global stewardship by traveling to areas
of need and laboring alongside the people of a
local community. Many organizations offer long-term or
short-term opportunities for service. (For example: Peace
Corps, mission organizations). SOWER
Project, as part of our long-range goals, also anticipates
providing short-term international service trips. |
