| United
States |
| The Lindsborg Tree Station took root in January of 1995. Wes Adell worked to form a collaborative effort. Founding partners were the City of Lindsborg, the Kansas Urban Forestry Council, the Kansas Forest Service, and the National Tree Trust. Thousands of potted trees grow at the site, utilizing compost and mulch generated from a community composting and waste wood recovery project. |

Ghana: Members of Parliament requested training and project development assistance for composting and growing vegetables and trees. Members Thomas Aubyn and Inno Bufur visited Lindsborg (1997). Wes Adell and Dave Hale traveled to Ghana (December 1997). Continued joint project development is underway. |

| Europe and Middle East |
| Istanbul, Turkey: SOWER Project director Wes Adell was invited by USA Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to represent the USA and the Lindsborg Tree Station and composting project at Habitat II [City Summit] international United Nations best practices conference (June 1996). |

| London, England: Commonwealth Chief agriculture Project Officer Brian Kerr invited Adell to present information of Lindsborg composting and tree growing project (December 1997). |

| Iberoamerica and Caribbean |
| Peru: Open Doors international mission organization invited Adell to work with congressman Miguel Quicana on composting and bucket drip irrigation pilot site demonstrations near Lima and also in the Andes Mountains, home of the Quechua Indians (1999 and 2000). |

Ecuador: Training was provided at the University of Agriculture in
Guayaquill, the University of Guayaquill and the University of Agriculture outside Babahoya in composting and bucket drip irrigation (1999). |

| Colombia: Training workshops were provided to government officials and missionaries in capital of
Bogota. Pilot site projects were installed in rebel country locations, sponsored by Open Doors (2000). |

| Suriname: Worked with government leaders Wim Undehout [Ambassador to the USA for eight years] and Ivan Granoogst [Secretary General] developing composting in capital city of Paramaribo. Buddy Hedwig and Kenneth Middleijn visited Lindsborg (1998). They also assisted with activities in Paramaribo, including appearance on Suriname national television (1998). |

| Haiti: Provided six pilot site demonstrations across island in composting and bucket drip irrigation, working with missionary Mary Jane Basel and Christ the King Church of Columbus, Ohio (Spring 2001). |

Chiapas, Mexico: Demonstrated composting and bucket drip irrigation through connections with Open Doors among former Mayan Indians in Sierra Madre mountains as well as local Spanish speaking citizens. Training also provided for staff of Minister of Agriculture in Tuxla Gutierrez, capital of state of Chiapas (2000). Worked primarily with Esdras Gonzales, area leader, and Jeanne Jarvis, missionary. |

| Melbourne: Adell selected as one of Leading Presenters at Compost 2000 Down Under world composting conference (November 2000). Explained and demonstrated composting, bucket drip irrigation and utilization of compost. |

| Winnipeg: Participated in one of two world hearings on sustainable development. Shared the story of the Lindsborg Tree Station and composting project (November 1998). |
